Edmonton’s Annual Outdoor Winter Dance Event
The Downtown Defrost is a family-friendly winter celebration of dance music, created by Night Vision Music and Wheelhouse Productions. Launched in 2015, this annual event typically sees Winston Churchill Square transformed into a wild dance party featuring lights, decorations, and some of the city’s favourite DJs alongside international talent. With Churchill Square still under construction through 2019, The Defrost is joining forces with Silver Skate festival once again to bring the parties 5th edition to Hawrelak park!

Free Shuttles available from Hawerlak Park to 9910! First shuttle departs at 10:10, and the second departs at 10:30! Limited space.
